Ayahs 183 – 188 Ayah 183 O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous . Losing weight? Getting rid of toxins? To abstain الصوم االمساك Abstain from Forbidden Acts Do What Allah Commanded Therefore, if a person can abstain from what Allah has made halal for 30 days, then he/she will not have a problem leaving that which He has made Haram Ayah 184 [Fasting for] a limited number of days. So whoever among you is ill or on a journey [during them] then an equal number of days [are to be made up]. And upon those who are able [to fast, but with hardship] - a ransom [as substitute] of feeding a poor person [each day]. And whoever volunteers excess - it is better for him. But to fast is best for you, if you only knew. So whoever sights [the new moon of] the month, let him fast it; and whoever is ill or on a journey - then an equal number of other days. Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship and [wants] for you to complete the period and to glorify Allah for that [to] which He has guided you; and perhaps you will be grateful. O' My Rabb, Assist me in remembering you, in thanking you, and worshipping you in the best of manners” Ayah 186 And when My servants ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning Me - indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided. I am close… In His Knowledge Seeing ٌيب فَإ ِ ّ ٌن ٌقَ ِر ر ِ Hearing Awareness "Nothing increases one's lifespan except good deeds, and nothing repels divine decree except du’a. A person may be deprived of sustenance due to a sin that he does" (Ibn Majah)! Sincerity Attentive Heart Conditions Purity of Sustenance Lack of Hastiness Acceptance of Du’a Right Away Saved for the Hereafter Avert any Harm Laylat al-Qadar Du’a in the depths of the night Following the prescribed prayers Between the adhaan and the iqaamah An Hour On Friday While drinking Zamzam Water While Prostrating When Waking Up at Night While Rain Adhan Time Reasons of Rejection Obey Allah Believe in Allah Attain Beautiful Lifestyle Ayah 187 It has been made permissible for you the night preceding fasting to go to your wives [for sexual relations]. They are clothing for you and you are clothing for them. Allah knows that you used to deceive yourselves, so He accepted your repentance and forgave you. So now, have relations with them and seek that which Allah has decreed for you. And eat and drink until the white thread of dawn becomes distinct to you from the black thread [of night]. Then complete the fast until the sunset. And do not have relations with them as long as you are staying for worship in the mosques. These are the limits [set by] Allah , so do not approach them. Thus does Allah make clear His ordinances to the people that they may become righteous. Covers You Comforts you Beautifies You Protects you Adorns You Close to you Saves you Gets you Respect Hides Deficiencies Gets you Praise You are identified by your clothes Be grateful to your husband Be sensitive to his moods, feelings and needs Be cheerful and humorous, smile often Express your love frequently and creatively Make sure you serve him the foods he likes Dress up for your husband at home Do things together, give him your undivided attention Spend your husband’s money carefully Show caring and concern for his relatives Never object when he spends on his relatives Don’t fly into a rage when you have a difference of Opinion Believe the best, not the worst about him Show respect for your husband Don’t complain about him Don’t discuss your marital problems with others Be Best Friends "This leads him to feel contented with Allah instead of the people, which prepares him for being at peace with Him alone on the day of loneliness in the grave, when there is no one else to give comfort, nor anyone to grant solace except Him. So this is the greater goal of Itikaf." Ibn al Qayyim al Jawziyyah ٌُح ُدو ُد Prohibitions Muharramat Commands Muhkamat Ayah 188 And do not consume one another's wealth unjustly or send it [in bribery] to the rulers in order that [they might aid] you [to] consume a portion of the wealth of the people in sin, while you know [it is unlawful]. But We don’t consume other’s wealth unjustly! Really?
