Credit Transfer Scheme at MUIC
for Inbound Students
Registration
•Exchange students will receive a list of courses offered each trimester in advance.
•Students will email their list of desired classes for the Pre-Registration Process
•Pre-registration will guarantee a seat in the selected classes.
•The standard course load per trimester is 4 courses, which is equivalent to 16
credits (one subject = 4 credits).
•All courses must be approved by the home university in order to transfer credits
back.

Grading System
•The grading system at MUIC follows the American system.
•Our 4-credit trimester hour is the same as a 3-hour semester class.
•There are 44 lecture hours per class plus the final exam.
•Each class meets 4 hours per week.
