Paul had taught the Galatians that

John Wesley said it in the Latin
“Solo fi dei.”

1. Standing firm in grace is proper resistance to the entanglement of the law. Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong. Do everything in love. 1 Cor. 16:13-14
2. Mark My Words!!! Never throw freedom away. Never throw away the liberty we have in Christ for the bondage of keeping the law.
3. The only thing that could possibly give us human wretches value and standing in the mind of God is the acceptance and belief of the death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ and Him crucified is all that counts.
