Member and VISTA Timesheets
Member Timesheet Features
• Timesheet Formats A-D are all part of our
regular AmeriCorps Member Timesheet
system and support the following features:
– Up to 4 Service Hour Categories and 4 Training
Hour Categories that are completely customizable
– Up to 4 Supervisors can be assigned to approve a
member’s timesheet
Member Timesheet Formats
Version A: Standard
Members enter total hours served in each hours category. System calculates daily and
timesheet totals
Member Timesheet Formats
Version B: Modified Standard
Members enter total hours served in each hours category for that day. The system
calculates daily and timesheet totals from those total hour entries. Optional
modifications to this format include:
• Two time in and time out periods. These time in and time outs do NOT calculate
hours, they are for reference only.
• A mileage field for each day, with total mileage shown at the bottom.
• The daily description field can also be removed if desired.
Member Timesheet Formats
Version C: Calculating Time In/ Time Out with Inline Descriptions
Members use drop down menus to enter in up to seven start and end times for their
activities. In addition to the short descriptions associated with each time in and out
section, there is a larger comments box at the bottom of the timesheet.

Version D: Calculating Time In/Time Out with Optional Lunch
Members use drop down menus to enter in up to seven start and end times for their
activities. There is a larger comments box at the bottom of the timesheet. The
optional Lunch field subtracts lunch time from the associated time in/time out line.
VISTA/Staff Timesheet Features
• Timesheet Format E is our VISTA and Staff
Timesheet and is completely separate from our
normal timesheet system. It has the following
features
– Completely customizable Program, Activity and
Position categories.
– Daily time off, with completely customizable time off
categories and management tools for Staff and
Program Directors
– VISTAs, Regional Coordinators, Program Directors and
State Commission Staff can fill out this timesheet.
– Note: Only one supervisor can be assigned to a VISTA
VISTA/Staff Timesheet Format
Version E: VISTA and Staff Timesheet with Time Off
Users select the Program, Activity and Position and enter in their total hours spent on
that activity. Users can add and delete rows. Users can also input Time Off hours for
each day if needed. For VISTAs, the unit of time can either be hours or days.
