Ayah 163
And your god is one God. There is no
deity [worthy of worship] except Him,
the Entirely Merciful, the Especially
Merciful.

Ayah 164
Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and earth, and
the alternation of the night and the day, and the
[great] ships which sail through the sea with that
which benefits people, and what Allah has sent
down from the heavens of rain, giving life thereby to
the earth after its lifelessness and dispersing
therein every [kind of] moving creature, and [His]
directing of the winds and the clouds controlled
between the heaven and the earth are signs for a
people who use reason.

So the one who has given us
everything, we too should give
everything of ours to Him.
Say, "Indeed, my prayer, my rites
of sacrifice, my living and my
dying are for Allāh, Lord of the
worlds.

Ayah 165
And [yet], among the people are those who take
other than Allah as equals [to Him]. They love
them as they [should] love Allah . But those
who believe are stronger in love for Allah . And
if only they who have wronged would consider
[that] when they see the punishment, [they
will be certain] that all power belongs to Allah
and that Allah is severe in punishment.

Heart being soft subdued and meek before Allah

Staying away from all sins which become a curtain
between you and Allah.

Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet
said When Allah loves a servant, He calls
out Jibril and says: “ I love so and so; so
love him.” Then Jibril loves him. After
that he (Jibril) announces to the
inhabitants of heavens that Allah loves so
and so; so love him. Then the inhabitants
of heaven ( angels) also love him and then
make people of the earth love him.

O Allah! I ask of You Your love, the
love of whoever loves You and the love
of those deeds which would draw me
to attaining Your love.

Ayah 166
[And they should consider that] when
those who have been followed
disassociate themselves from those who
followed [them], and they [all] see the
punishment, and cut off from them are
the ties [of relationship]
Ayah 167
Those who followed will say, "If only we had
another turn [at worldly life] so we could
disassociate ourselves from them as they
have disassociated themselves from us."
Thus will Allah show them their deeds as
regrets upon them. And they are never to
emerge from the Fire.

The reality is that the
object or the person
we turn to has no
power, no authority.
Ayah 168
O mankind, eat from whatever is on
earth [that is] lawful and good
and do not follow the footsteps of
Satan. Indeed, he is to you a clear
enemy.

coronary heart disease, high blood pressure, stroke,
type II diabetes, Abnormal blood fats, cancer,
osteoarthritis, reproductive problems, and gallstones.

healthy: Seen in many ways – Prohibited from
Alcohol, smoking, suicide, etc…
Imaam Nawawi: Prophet (PBUH) was reported
to have said: “Your body has a right over you,
your eye has a right over you, your wife has a
right over you, and your visitor has a right over
you…”

He only orders you to evil and
immorality and to say about Allah
what you do not know.

In 1997 Dr. Sitt and her husband were invited to
Wisconsin’s Appleton Central Alternative High School,
where a full time policeman patrolled the halls. Guns,
fights, and poor performance were rife.
The Stitts replaced soda machines and sugar laden
cafeteria food (including artificial colors and corn syrup)
with water and wholesome fruits, vegetables, whole
grains, and proteins. Within three months the police
officer had little to do. The children’s behavior changed
dramatically and was so consistently good the
superintendent of the entire school district of 15,000
students took note and made all his schools change to
wholesome food.
Ayah 170
And when it is said to them, "Follow what
Allah has revealed," they say, "Rather, we
will follow that which we found our
fathers doing." Even though their fathers
understood nothing, nor were they
guided?
