Hello, everyone. I’m an undergraduate student here
at Nankai University and I’m happy I was asked to tell
you something about the university.
Nankai is actually one of the oldest universities in
China, founded in 1919, and it’s a key multi-disciplinary
university which is well-known for research.
Alumni from Nankai include the late Premier Zhou
Enlai, the mathematician Chen Shengshen and the
playwright Cao Yu, among many others and the university
is associated with a number of Nobel Prize winners.
The university is quite international and is keen to
develop even more links. Of course, there’s a lot more to
say about the university and I’m sure you’ll have
questions as we go around the campus. The campus
environment is very pleasant, with the lakes and trees,
and we students enjoy studying here.
I would like to stop here. Thank you very much for
listening to my presentation. I will be very happy to
answer your questions if you have any.
