The Postsecondary Educational Readiness Test (PERT) will determine if your academic skills are currently at college level in reading, writing, and math. Your scores may indicate that you need a some additional academic review to bring your skills up to college level in a particular area. Completion of all preparatory needs prior to earning 12 college level credit hours is required. Meaning that all students who place in prep courses will need to take them within their first semester. Only three attempts permitted for any course (withdrawals count). Refer to Total Attempts in the 2011-2012 FKCC Catalog page 57.
