Job Description Job Title: Switchboard Operator Department: Reception Reporting to: Reception Manager / Duty Manager Aim of the role Responsible for the day to day running of the switchboard and additional administration duties related to the day to day operations. Responsibilities Responsibilities Answer all incoming calls and divert them to the correct department Take restaurant bookings externally and from hotel guests Enter guests business information onto Portfolio Update portfolio with all the guests comment cards Process administration for guests arrivals and departures Process the order for guests requesting cakes for special occasions in the restaurant. Confirm all restaurant reservations daily Process all the helicopter landing forms Process all mid stay guests gifts Order taxis for guests Ensure franking machine is working and has money on it. Checking and sending of faxes. Processing telephone messages to guests Constantly updating the telephone lists and ensure that the deck phones are returned.
