‘MOA- making public transport accessible to PWD.’
• Our endeavor is to ensure we comply with all standards
that are customer friendly and fit to all.
• As per our subject, MOA is striving hard to address
article 23 by first giving priorities to people with
disabilities. Though at times, passengers scramble for
seats, people with disabilities are given preference
when boarding matatus.
• our crews have been trained on public relations thus
guiding un-accompanied (pwd) passengers and ensure
they reach their destination.
‘MOA- Making Public Transport Accessible to PWD’
• One of our core values being to cater for our
customers, MOA is striving to ensure
satisfaction to all our customers.
• Some vehicles that we would like to invest in
is those that have ramps to enable all
passengers board smoothly.
• However the conditions of our roads will make
this venture expensive.
‘MOA- making public transport accessible to PWD.’
• In all aspects, MOA ensures all people with
disabilities are welcome in all vehicles thus
eradicating any form of discrimination on people
with disabilities.
• On access to our vehicles as highlighted above is a
challenge. Lack of special designated stages within
towns is a hindrance. This is due to lack of adequate
space in our towns and time allocated for picking.

• Calling for compliance, MOA would like to ensure
safety for all.
• Lack of ample termini for our vehicles makes people
with disability to trek for long to get vehicles to their
various destinations. We are however working with
the local authorities to create such places and at the
same time decongest towns.

• Disability is not inability. We therefore
appreciate all our customers.
• After seeing a special bus that can cater for
people with disabilities, as MOA, we shall
work hand in hand with the government,
motor vehicle assemblers to ensure
accesibility of such vehicles at reasonable
costs.
