“WHEN MY SHIP COMES IN..”
Three types:
CASHING IN
The ships represent people in your organization, whether you
sponsored them directly or not. They may be at any level.
Knowing that you are going to “cash in” on the cargo when
your ship comes in, which ships are you going to work with?
So why is it that most people want to work with the Empty ship?
The Empty ships are the ones who have been in the program
for a while, but you still have to convince them every time you
see them that it WILL WORK. They seem to be somewhat
negative and easily discouraged.
SILVER SHIP

When you sponsor someone into the business,
they come in as a

SHIP.
It’s basically determined by how YOU work
with them whether their cargo

They are EAGER to LEARN. Call all the time with questions.
They ASK FOR HELP. They have someone they want you to
see with them to sponsor or train.
They are EXCITED ABOUT THE BUSINESS.
They make COMMITMENTS. They are buying and USING THE
PRODUCTS, and they are spending their spare time learning
all they can about the products and the business
opportunity.
They have GOALS. They know the 10 RULES FOR SUCCESS.
They have a LIST OF NAMES. That list WILL be WRITTEN DOWN.
They are FUN TO BE WITH.
They are POSITIVE. We all like to be around positive thinking
people – it’s contagious.
They are on the team calls. They come to meetings.

EXPLANATION: If I know Sue, I DON’T go up and ask
Sue if she’s interested in earning some extra income.
The reason is she will probably say, “No I am not
interested.”
What I can say is this: Sue might you know of
ANYONE who would be interested in earning some
extra income?
Notice the “Third Party” – ANYONE. I’m asking her if
she knows ANYONE. Most of the time their response
will probably be
“What is it?”
YOU JUST LAUNCHED A SHIP. WILL IT FLOAT OR WILL IT
SINK. THAT WILL PROBABLY BE UP TO YOU.
WHERE DO I SPEND MY TIME?
In the beginning you should spend 100% of your time sponsoring
people. Remember, your sponsor should be helping you so you are
learning the system of duplication.

 Find

5 serious people.
Now spend your time TEACHING those
5
95% of your time working with them, 2 ½% of your time servicing
your customers, and 2 ½% of your time planting seeds.

You should be aware that 100% of the time, you are moving the
product. It’s a natural result of working with your people. That’s the
“selling” part of the business, which I like to call the “sharing” part.

THE SIZZLE SELLS THE STEAK

You have been camping right? Built a camp fire?

ONE LOG you have NOTHING, TWO LOGS, you’ll have a
FLAME!! THREE LOGS, you will have a FIRE. FOUR LOGS,
you’ll have a BLAZE!!

People are the SAME. One person not much energy. Two
people MUCH MORE ENERGY. Three EVEN MORE ENERGY.
When the forth person arrives, you really get it going! We
like to call these “blazes” or “SIZZLE SESSIONS.”
Your Network Marketing program is the “steak,”
everyone knows The SIZZLE sells the Steak!

putting a candle under their sitting place than by putting
a blow torch to their thinking place.”

Question: “Who can I get into my business?”

Better Question: “To whom will I next, offer the
opportunity to retire?”

“Retiring” simply means: “…not going to work unless
you want to.”

