National Eligibility Criteria
Offers services in 15 or more states for 3
years, or several foreign countries
Apply directly to OPM Director

Substantial presence in local or adjacent area
Office open at least 15 hours/week

Recruit enthusiastic team to help plan a wellorganized and successful campaign.
Work closely with LFCC Co-Chairs and CFC
Staff to establish goals and time frames.
Implement effective system for reporting
results and maintaining accurate records.

Oversee entire campaign
Follow up on all aspects of campaign.

Setting specific dollar goals per person is not allowed.
Setting a 100 percent participation goal is prohibited.
Supervisors may not solicit employees.
Do not display or post a list of contributors or noncontributors.
5. Please refrain from advocating for one agency over another –
allow the contributor to choose the agency which will receive
his/her gift.
6. Coercion is expressly forbidden in the CFC.

REPORT THE RESULTS
Review the Pledge Cards
Return the pink copy to employee/donor
Ensure two (2) white copies and one (1)
yellow copy are still intact.
Verify that:
 Employee contribution is correctly calculated.
 For payroll deduction, full SSN is provided on
white copy, along with signature and date.

REPORT THE RESULTS (cont.)
Again, Review the Pledge Cards.
Arrange in alphabetic order and pledge type.
Prepare the Keyworker’s Report Envelope for
return to the LFCC.
Ensure tallies are correct.
Provide a contact Name and Phone Number.
LFCC Chair will need to forward copies of
pledge cards to PSD/payroll office.
Verify Civilian employees’ payroll office(s).
