Pietro Scott Jovane is CEO and General Manager of RCS MediaGroup S.p.A.
since July 1st, 2012.
Born in Cambridge (USA) in 1968, Pietro Scott Jovane graduated in Business
Administration from the University of Pavia.
He is member of Confindustria’s Council, member of the Board of Directors of
Assolombarda and member of FIEG’s Presidential Committee. He is also member
of the Board of Directors of both Cefriel and Ansa (where he is also a member of
the executive committee).
After joining the Italian branch of Microsoft in 2003, Pietro Scott Jovane initially
served as Chief Financial Officer, then he was Sales Director for the
Telecommunications and Media Market and later he became Country Manager of
the Online Services Group (MSN, Windows Live and Microsoft Advertising). In
2008 he was appointed as CEO of Microsoft Italy.
During his career he has held various positions in the financial sector. He served
from 2000 to 2003 as Chief Financial Officer Internet Division with the Seat
Group and previously he worked for Gianni Versace S.p.A. as Chief Financial
Officer USA, Canada & Mexico, and also for Techint and Pilkington.
