The World Junior Pastry-Making Championships will be the top of the bill show at the
SIGEP 2015 Pastry Events. Young people
from every continent will showcase the passion, determination and ambition they put
into the profession, demonstrating a range
of finely-honed techniques and noteworthy
creative skills, not to mention leaps of imagination. Their creations will then be scored by
the grand masters of the international judging
panel.

The theme of the World Junior Pastry-Making
Championships is Italian
Food Style.
Thanks to the passion,
talent and creative genius
of the young prodigies,
along with the attention
and experience of the
grand masters, the World
Championships provide
an opportunity to boost
the identity of the pastry-making community
and everyone working in and around it, opening up new horizons and artistic paradigms.

Yet again, Rimini has proved it’s worth as a unique and absolutely
unbeatable showcase for new and emerging pastry-making professionals. It’s one step ahead of the latest trends, unveiling new proposals thanks to the amazing and highly original artistic creations

at the Championships. Pastry Events are both an elite competition
for pastry professionals and a spectacular show spotlighting the
sector, attracting media attention and promoting the prestigious artisan pastry-making field on an international scale.

The Star of Sugar
It’s Italian Championship time
again when the country’s
young pastry-chefs take to the
Pastry Arena to show off their
creativity and skill. The artistry
of the young chefs from all
over Italy will be inspired by
an icon of Italian youth and
style - the Vespa - presented
in an original and innovative
manner in the sugar and
chocolate masterpieces, and
in keeping with the tests set
by the judges.
This international sugar
contest will provide a tasty
backdrop to the Pastry
Events, welcoming the
public into a artistically-rich
context in which the works
presented will represent one
of the many things that have
made the Made in Italy mark
great: Ferrari: a man, a car,
a legend. The endeavours of
one person and his creation
have left an indelible mark
on the annals of time. It all
started from a feeling and a
passion, the same ones that
will be the used to test the
abilities of sugar artists from
around the world.

The theme of the competition,
in which Italian pastry-makers
will be fighting for the right to
compete in the Women’s 2016
Pastry Queen competition,
is: Stylists and Haute Couture. Through their sugar and
chocolate sculptures, dessert
plates and “mini sweet” rings,
the contestants will be staging
a catwalk of extraordinary
creations, unveiling the haute
couture of the pastry world.

The long-standing tradition

SIGEP 2015. The heat is on
to discover the winner of the
world’s most famous over-23
pastry-making competition.
Competition theme: “Pastrymaking: core characteristics”.
Visitors will be treated to

heads up on what’s going
down in the Italian pastrymaking world, and all the
wealth, culture and ingenuity
of the Made in Italy brand will
be in full view, giving them
a chance to pick the most
appealing suggestions and
maybe revisit them back in
their own workshops.
