• Coordinate and manage the activities conducted by the

Technical Group.

• Coordinate and manage the activities conducted by the

Leadership and Mentoring programs (LAMP) Group.

• Oversee the annual election activities within each Technical

Group.

• Act as a backup for the President.

Program for professionals and for accomplished and young professionals.

• Enhance cooperation with organizations like IEEE, corporate diversity organizations and other technical / business communities.

• Support activities to establish the student chapters in universities to help develop young professionals .

• Organize CIE Convention Task Force.

• Manage the Plan and Execution for the Convention.

• Represent CIE Annual Convention in Public Events.

• Showcase CIE programs to the leaders of the community and major corporations at the Convention.

• Set goals and execute fund raising plans.

• Provide opportunity to identify future CIE leaders.

• Maintain all transactions for CIE bank accounts (check and

CD); Prepare the tax return.

• Send monthly financial reports for internal auditing

• Process expense reimbursement; ensure all expenses have president’s approval and original receipts.

• Cooperate with the Chair of Membership to ensure membership is activated whenever the fee is received.

• Send out invoices for expected income; provide receipts for donations.

• Assist the president with all CIE-related financial issues.

• Establish a more efficient expense reimbursement process.

• Improve the accuracy of membership records.

• Maintain the integrity of the organization’s financial system and the officers (volunteers) responsible for handling the finance.

• Follow up with the CPA to ensure the tax return is filed timely for year 2010.
