What is dispersion and Why we need it ?
Measure of scatterness between the values of a series to that of the average(Mean , Median, Mode)
is dispersion.
To measure the extend to which the items vary from some central value.(Average).
ABSOLUTE MEASURES :
The measures of dispersion which are
expressed in terms of original units of a
series are termed as Absolute Measures.
RELATIVE MEASURES:
The measures of dispersion which are
measured as a percentage or ratio of the
average are termed Relative Measures.

INDIVIDUAL SERIES
DISCRETE SERIES
CONTINUOUS SERIES
