PROPHET’S LIFE AT MAKKAH 1 From Birth till the declaration of Prophethood 2 From the declaration of Prophethood till migration to Medina in 610 AD PART_1 • Birth/Childhood • A business trip to Syria • Teenager/ the Battle of Fujjar/ Hilf-ul-Fudul • Marriage • Rebuilding Ka’bah HARBUL FUJJAR BACKGROUND • Arab tribes, have never been so developed, morally in terms of civilization. • So they had lots of civil wars, many of which happened for nothing, & they killed each other, just for tribal prejudice. • Many wars happened during Arabian history, which is called "Ayy'amul Arab“ ))ایام العرب WHAT DO WE KNOW ABOUT HARB-UL-FUJJAR? It got this name because it went on during the sacred months when Arabs were not supposed to fight. It was a tribal war b/w the Quraysh & the Banu Kinana & Hawazin. This war happened when the Prophet ﷺwas about 15 and he retrieved arrows but otherwise didn’t take part in the fighting directly. Lesson War could be destructive when fought for the wrong reason. LEAGUE OF THE VIRTUOUS حلف الفضول • Many people lost their lives in the Battles of Fujjar in which much blood was shed. • An alliance initiated by Prophet & ﷺ various Makkan, to establish justice for all through collective action.
