1 Task

Task
1.1
General
This example is used to describe the configuraton / start-up of an
F_Send/F_Receive connection. The programming / start-up of the SPL logic and FCPU will not be discussed here.
The signals between SINUMERIK 840D sl and IM 151-8 F-CPU are transmitted via
Profinet (controller - controller) by way of F_Send/F_Receive.
The F_Send/F_Receive communication is used to map OUTSE/P from
SINUMERIK 840D sl to inputs of the IM 151-8 F-CPU (SFC14) or outputs of
IM151-8 F-CPU (SFC15) to INSE/P signals of SINUMERIK 840D sl
(in this example: OUTSE/P[41-44] to DB x.y and DBx.y to INSE/P[50-53]).
The following OBs are required: OB 82, OB83, OB86.

Which signals are transmitted by F_Send/F_Receive (e.g. EMERGENCY STOP)
and the related SPL logic depends on the application. The programming of the SPL
logic, e.g. triggering of EMERGENCY STOP by way of an input transmitted by
F_Send/F_Receive is described in this example.

Procedure
1. Assign the Profinet station a name
(PN-PN coupler X1, PN-PN coupler X2, IM151-8 F-CPU).
2. Specify the communicaton relations (see Fig. 1.4).
3. Make the appropriate settings in "HW Konfig" of SINUMERIK.
4. Specify the hardware configurations for the IM 151 F-CPU.
5. Parameterize the NC machine data.
6. Program the communication relations in the IM –FCPU (SFC xy).

Assigning a device name
All Profinet stations must be assigned a name; to this end, connect your device to
the appropriate Profinet station via the MAC address and assign a name.
This must be done once during the commissioning.
In the case of this application, this must be done for the IM 151-8 F-CPU.

To this end, select "Edit Ethernet station" under "Target system" in the SIMATIC
Manager.

Select the "Browse" softkey to start automatic searching for all stations available at
Profinet.

In this example, the "710" sends safety-related signals to the "711" and vice versa;
thus, in each of the two control systems, an F-SEND connection and an F-RCV
connection must be released.
In the case of SINUMERIK 840D sl, up to 3 SPL connections can be used (In other
words: If the SINUMERIK 840D sl CPU is MASTER, it can be connected to up to
three further CPUs by way of F-SEND/F-RCV (one SIMATIC F-CPU possesses a
larger quantity framework).
These three connections may be distributed over a maximum of 12 SPL
connections (which SPL outputs ($A_OUTSE) are mapped to which user data
signals of the F telegram depends on the SPL connection).

Excerpt from the F program of SIMATIC IM 151-8 F-CPU
For communication by way of F-SEND/F-RECV, the "Distributed Safety" library
provides F application blocks - the blocks FB223 "F_SENDDP" and
FB224 "F_RCVDP".
FB224 "F_RCVDP" must be called in the first network of the F program block, and
FB223 "F_SENDDP" in the last network of the F program block.
For a description of the blocks, see Manual: "S7 Distributed Safety. Configuring
and Programming".

Acknowledging communication errors
SINUMERIK 840D sl
F-Receive:
If a communication error is detected by the system, it must be acknowledged for
the "F-Receive" connection after rectifying the error cause by the user.
The acknowledgement can be provided either by a channel RESET
or for each connection separately by way of the ACK.REI signal.
Acknowledgement is only required in the PLC.
For acknowledgement, the appropriate bit must be set in DB 18:

The diagnosis for communication errors can be performed by way of the "Error"
signal of the connection.

In the case of the F-Send conenction, no acknowledgement is required in case of a
communication error.
Whether or not a communication error is present in the F-Send connection can be
evaluated using the DB18 signal FSDP[x]ERROR of the connection.

To be able to acknowledge a communication error in the case of the IM 151-8 FCPU, the ACK_REI signal must be connected in FB224 "F_RCVDP".
The ERROR and ACK_REC signals in FB 224 "F_RCVDP" can be used to
evaluate whether or not a communication error is present or can be acknowledged.

Connecting substitute values in case of
communication failure
In case of communication ffailure, a substitute value for the data received by way of
F-Receive can be connected by way of SUBS.
SINUMERIK 840D sl
If there is a fixed substitute value, it can be set to a fixed value by way of MD
13349 SAFE_RDP_SUBS (substitute values). In the PLC, no adaptations are
required.
If a variable substitute value is required, it can be programmed by way of the
SPL logic.
To this end, the NCK provdes the system variable $A_FRDP_SUBS[1...3], and the
PLC the bits in DB 18 in the range
DB18.DBX220.0- 221.7 FRDP[1]. SUBS[0] - FRDP[1].SUBS[15]
DB18.DBX232.0- 233.7 FRDP[2]. SUBS[0] - FRDP[2].SUBS[15]

Example:
In connection "1", the SUBS for the bits [4] and [15] are to be switched to "1" in
service cases. The safe input $A_INSE[41] corresponds to the service mode.
