Synopsis: On June 30, 2008 at about 6:51 pm, the Oakland Police Department was
dispatched to 82nd Ave. and MacArthur Blvd to investigate a shooting. Upon arrival,
officers located Zaire Washington, who was suffering from multiple gunshot
wounds. Washington was transported to the hospital, but succumbed to his injuries
and was pronounced deceased.
