setting - In the darkness (Hell), the twelve years later in Herot
Characters - God, Hrothgar, Grendel, the prince
plot - Grendel comes up from his darkness (hell) and kills soldiers while they sleep. Everyone runs away before they sleep to try to survive. The
next twelve years, people and royals turn to other gods and even the devil for help. They need a hero.
