Assignment 1 Haider Mansoor 21i-2576 CS-V Digital Marketing Channels The firm that I have chosen is Zong which is a Pakistan based telecom company, founded in 2008. Being such a big firm allows Zong to spend and experiment a lot on digital and traditional marketing. Some of the digital channels that I came across were creative ads with catchy pickup line running on YouTube, ads of deals running on Facebook and Instagram and also collaboration with different Instagram influencers to promote their brand. Further, if we talk about traditional marketing, different billboards promoting their offers can be seen around the country. Target Audience Zong providing something that everyone nowadays need, connection with the world, has a very diverse target audience. If we talk about the majority, it would be people aged from 18-40. Now if we start narrowing our target audience we can be after the people who are usually on the go such as students, people doing job.
