Television will soon die out. Unfortunately, TV which we have been used to since childhood is on threshold of extinction. Of course, not louds of people realize this now, but it’s obvious for my generation: the time is already coming when we'll celebrate the funeral of the TV. Do you know why it is so? The reason is elementary simple. It lives by banking on advertisement. If there’s no profit, TV dies. This has always been a controversial topic: advantages and disadvantages of television. Some people believe that TV is a part and parcel of our life because due to that we get wholesome information about different events or things. Someone likes doing household chores when the television is on. It improves their mood. It’s also very conveniently to watch the news on TV in the morning when you are gearing up for your study or work. Оther people are sure that television has a negative effect on our life. TV may seem innocuous, nevertheless, akin to any other technique it harms our health. From my perspective, TV has got bogged down in advertising, and there are a great deal of pitfalls. For example, some of the advertisement videos overstate the quality of the goods making people to purchase unnecessary things. Nowadays everything can be found on the Internet. There we are not tied to time and place. Any news can also be efortless found on the Internet, so my generation doesn’t watch TV at all. Consequently, television will die out in a few decades and this is inevitable. When TV ceases to be lucrative for advertisers, the need for it will disappear. Therefore, it’s prudent that right now you can plan your further life focused more on the Internet, on search services and social networks. There are more opportunities there and the future is there.
