Bunsen burner experiment procedure

Procedure
1. Put on safety equipment.
2. Measure out 150ml of cold tap water using the measuring cylinder.
3. Set up the equipment as shown on in the diagram.
4. Record the initial temperature of the water.
5. Light the Bunsen Burner, switch to the roaring flame and start the
stopwatch.
6. Record the temperature of the water every half a minute (30s).
7. At the 20-minute mark, record the last temperature stop the timer.
8. Turn off the Bunsen Burner.
9. Let the beaker and hot water cool down.
10.Pour the water into a measuring cylinder.
11.Record the amount of water remaining.
12.Disassemble the set-up, putting the equipment back into its appropriate
spot.
