Project Need Analysis
In the field of Human Resource Management, one of the major
function and should always be executed is Record-Keeping. With
numerous employees you have to handle, you cannot remember
everything, from every employee's name, to their everyday attendance,
their date of tenure, their personal information, etc. You need documents
to support, claim and store all of your data secured in one place this is so
that you'd easily trace and utilize these documents' information when
needed to drive your everyday decisions.
In present times, there are numerous businesses now that emerges in
the market and as the income profit from it grew increasingly wide, so the
need for people grew. Many businesses now have HRIS or Human
Resource Information System, but in reality not all can afford them
because it's relatively expensive. HRIS is a type of SaaS or stands for
Software as a Service. Small businesses in particular may not opt to avail
one to avoid extra cost. HRIS as defined by DeCenzo and Robbins (2005)
is a database system that keeps important information about employees in
a central and accessible location.
The fundamental purpose of this database is to provide efficiency
with which data on employees and HR activities are compiled all in one
place. One sub-function of this database is the document forms. These
forms are an everyday use of any organization to drive their everyday
management to employees and is usually accessible online. Contrary to
small businesses that couldn't afford this may just opt to traditional
physical document keeping.
Human Resource document forms are utilized mainly to recruit,
acquire information and manage employee relations for employees. To
name a few they are in the forms of attendance form, cv submissions,
employment satisfaction, time-off request, vacation request, sick leave
requite, employee-governmental requirements, etc. There's just so many
HR forms that are currently being used, the form's template and structure
may vary from organization to organization, industry to industry and by
country to country which state's labor laws also has an impact with.
