RATIONALE
The School Learning Action Cell on Orientation on Learning Resource Portal isintended to 9
teachers (8 teachers and 1 School Head) of Salet Elementary School.Normally when teachers think of
designing, the usual way of creating good design ispretty complex. Teachers think about of going to long
processes, which is from purchasingthe right software, studying the design, finding some photos,
purchasing fonts up until it isready to be revised and updated. Having these things in consideration,
Canva companywants to help teachers create simple but engaging classroom Content with a plethora
ofclassroom-friendly templates, relevant to specific learning goals, teachers can create e-Books
and e-Book covers, beautiful presentations for their subjects, class schedules,worksheets,
handouts, online test papers and postersAs a way of aiding every K-12 school and teacher in the
Philippines in distancelearning during this Covid 19 pandemic and driven by sharing their core values
like being aforce for good, empowering others, being a good human, making complex things
simple,pursuing excellence, and setting crazy big goals and making them happen the companywants to
empower them to maximize their ability to be creative by providing a free premiumversion of Canva for

maximize its functionality in creatinginstructional materials and in teaching a blended classroom or an
online remote class2. register and create Canva Pro account for the participants.3. create instructional
materials in different formats using the Canva for EducationaccountIV. TARGET PARTICIPANTS
VII. MONITORING AND EVALUATIONThe School Head, School ICT Coordinator and School LRMS
Coordinator will monitor and supervise the hands-on activities of the teachers and follow up the
progress learning and application of the idea they learn from the SLAC.VII. PERFORMANCE
INDICATORThe 9 teacher participants were able to access their Canva for Education accounts and create
instructional materials in different file formats IX. EXPECTED OUTPUT/OUTCOMESThe participants shall
be able to 1. Create/access/navigate their Canva for Education Account2. Apply and experience the
