b. To prepare the school documents SBM SY: 2020-2021.
c. To check the learners and teachers’ performance SY: 20212022.
d. To give emphasis the overall school performance during
Quarter 1 & 2 Project, Programs and Activities.
NARRATIVE:
In accordance with the commitment to learning continuity amidst the health crisis, the
Department of Education mandated that the schools should conduct Mid-year activity to the teaching
and non-teaching personnel. There will be a five-day midyear break of the school.
The Salud Cagas Technical and Vocational High School, conducted the 5-day Mid-Year
Performance Review and Evaluation (MPRE) activity, a school base activity. Since we are still in
the pandemic crisis, participants are not allowed to come together in large number in one place. To
address the problem, the work from home participants will use the google meet platform since most
of the topic to be tackled will be all about online applications and the onsite participants will join
live in school premise. The school always uphold the mandate of our government to follow the strict
health protocols, like the handwashing, temperature check, social distancing and wearing of face
mask. In the first day, January 31, 2022, we started at exactly 8:00’oclock in the morning. The
prayer was led by Maám Arlyn L. Limama followed by an opening message by our school head sir
Damian II A. Abayon, PhD.
The first speaker was Sir Ernie V. Sarabosing. He discussed on how to use Google meet as
our means of communication to the students whenever we conduct an online class. Sir Herbert Q.
Reblora discussed on how to schedule an online class using Google meet. Canva App was also given
emphasis by Ma’am Jerly D. Tirando. The teachers learned a lot from creating our own PPT,
programs and certificates. Sir Gervien Jay D. Lanoy discussed on how to edit a pdf file, where the
teachers will no longer check the output of the students since they will just answer it electronically
and automatic it will be checked. The Modules will be edited by the teachers for the students to
answer it. The last speaker was ma’am Janila S. Belisarion discussed about the Comprehensive
Sexual Education. It was reiterated that the teachers should incorporate the CSE to their subject for
the students to be aware about their right as human beings in terms on sexuality.
On the second day of our MPRE, even during holidays we continue doing our task at home.
We have complied the computations for the second grading period and also make the list of our
outstanding students for our class.
On the third day, we started compiling documents for the SBM for the school year 2021-22.
I was assigned to collect the liquidation and accomplishment report for this school year. This is for
the attachment in the principle 3. On the fourth day, still we continue doing the for the SBM
documents, and finalized our SALN and PDS for compiling. We also joined the google meet,
together with Ma’am Leilanie Tengzon for the monitoring.
Finally, on the fifth day we are currently doing our reading of grades and cards for the
purpose of corrections. The activity is worth a million times to be participated since it was
educational, very useful and timely during this time of pandemic crisis. We are all having while
learning these online applications. Even me who is not a “techy” teacher, I have all the fun doing the
canva app, the quiziz. If you will just explore them nothing is hard.
