NATIONAL SCHOOL DEWORMING DAY 2019-2020
Cahayagan NHS Grade 8 Section Rutherford were able to participates the National
School deworming day to help the students cure the high prevalence of children
affected by intestinal parasitic infections that leads to malnutrition and cognitive
impairment.
A Grade 8 Section Rutherford Student, Pop Nycie Tamayo received the deworming caplet
with her parent’s consent.
IMMUNIZATION 2019-2020
The team from the Department of Health partnership with Department of Education
conducted an Immunization of Measles for Grade 7 section Newton student. Louie
Hermones willingly received the vaccine with the consent of his parents.
HANDWASHING AND TOOTHBRUSHING S.Y. 2021-2022
Proper hygiene and sanitation practices among the learners to enable them to develop
life-long positive hygiene and sanitation behaviors. Proper handwashing and tooth
brushing were taught and perform by the students.
