SCLC: Influenced by faith and committed to mass nonviolent action such as: sit-ins,
marches, and boycotts. Lead by MLK Jr. SNCC: College aged students who worked
together to aide the civil rights movement. NAACP: Took the fight through civil rights
through law.

How did states resist following Brown v Board of Education? Were these efforts
successful? Your answer should mention specific examples.

Why did Martin Luther King, Jr. stop the second March on Montgomery before it reached
that city? Do you agree or disagree with his decision?

to enforce a federal injunction prohibiting the march. I agree with his decision.
