demonstrators started to get killed. Protestors fought back. This uprising was
influenced by the revolt in Egypt and Tunisia.
Yemen

Protests happened against unemployment, economic conditions and corruption,
the government’s decision to change Yemen’s constitution.
Syria

The dream of democracy of protestors was met with government opposition. The
government killed and imprisoned them, splitting the country. Then, the Civil war
broke out.
Libya

The revolt began when protestors fought against forces loyal to Colonel
Muammar Gaddafi.
