Not all of our benefits cost you money. Some, including
Life Insurance, Absolute Permanent Disability Insurance
and Total Permanent Disability Insurance, provide you
with security, peace of mind, and tax-efficiency. Visit
The Employee Benefits Site to see which benefits are
covered, those you are automatically enroled into,
and those you can select for your dependants.

coming your way within the first
few weeks of starting. It will tell you
when you can choose your benefits
and how to make your selections.
You will have 30 days to choose

receive the email to make your
benefit selections. Then you’ll be
able to edit your benefits during the
next bi-annual enrolment window
(which fall in June and December
each year), just like everyone else.

MEDICAL INSURANCE
MEDICAL CARE
Caring for yourself and
your loved ones
Peace of mind that you
and your family can access
top medical services
should they need them.
It can bring great peace of mind to know
you’re covered should you and your loved
ones need medical treatment. Medical
Insurance gives you and your family
access to treatment quickly and easily.
Salesforce has increased the level of
cover they pay for so, that it now includes
a Sanitas network reimbursement for
you and your family, which also includes
standard dental cover. You can increase
the cover for you and your family to
include enhanced dental cover.
Salesforce fully funds the cost of this
insurance for you and your dependants.
However, you will not be automatically
enroled into this benefit and will need to
opt-in and add your dependants through
The Employee Benefits site. You have to
opt into the plan within one month of
joining Salesforce Spain to be covered
for pre-existing medical conditions.

LIFE ASSURANCE
LIFE INSURANCE
Protecting yourself and your loved
ones and giving you peace of mind
It’s good to know your loved
ones will be looked after if
something happens to you.
Ensure your family can cope financially
should the worst happen.
We don’t always like the tough
conversations or think about what the
future might bring. But it is important to
be prepared.

Salesforce fully funds your Life Insurance
premium, so your family can cope
financially in the event of your death.
It pays 3x of your OTE, as it appears in
Workday, to your beneficiaries*.
PER
You are automatically enroled – so there
is no need to select this benefit. To select
your beneficiary, go on to The Employee
Benefits Site.

* If your OTE exceeds €233,000, you will have to be medically
underwritten to be covered for the full amount.

ABSOLUTE
PERMANENT
DISABILITY
Financial security if
should you suffer a
disability that means
you can no longer
work in any capacity.
Receive a one-time lump sum
payment if you are unable to work
at all as the result of suffering a
disability due to illness or accident.
You will benefit from a payment
up to 3x of your on-target earnings
(OTE) as it appears in Workday.
You are automatically covered
from Day One – so you do not
have to do anything for your
policy to take effect – and you
are unable to opt-out of this
benefit. Salesforce pays for your
policy, so you can rest easy in the
knowledge you are protected,
whatever the future may bring.
This is a taxable benefit.
TOTAL PERMANENT
DISABILITY
Ensure you can cope financially
as a result of suffering a
disability while employed
by Salesforce.
At Salesforce we want to ensure
you have everything in place to
ensure a healthy and happy time
with us, whatever your situation.
Your Total Permanent Disability
insurance, fully-funded by Salesforce,
provides financial peace of mind should
you become permanently disabled
due to an injury or illness while you
are employed with us. This insurance
covers you for instances where you
suffer a disability that requires a change
to your working situation, but you are
still able to work in some capacity.
The insurance covers you for a onetime lump-sum payment of up to 3x
your annual OTE, as stated in Workday,
depending on the degree of your
disability. You are automatically enroled
into the insurance from Day One.

PENSION PPSE
Saving for your future is
important. Ensure you can
put your feet up and enjoy
your retirement comfortably
– with a little help from us.
Everyone needs to think about where
they will get their income from when they
retire – but with many different options
to consider, it can be complicated. Saving
into the Salesforce Pension PPSE is a taxefficient way to put money towards your
future.
Salesforce will contribute twice the value of
your own contribution up to a maximum
of 8% of your OTE. You can now manage
your pension contributions online through
The Employee Benefits Site.

Parental Leave is designed to give

time with your new arrival/s, and
to enhance maternity, paternity,

leave and pay entitlements.
To be eligible for the Salesforce
enhanced parental leave program,
you must have been continuously
employed by Salesforce for at least
six months at the time of birth or
placement of your child.

Pay for your childcare
in a tax-efficient way.
Our Employee Stock Purchase
Plan (ESPP) allows full or part-time
employees working 20 or more
hours each week the opportunity
to purchase Salesforce stock (NYSE
Ticker: CRM) at a discount. Through
the Salesforce ESPP, you can
contribute 2% to 15% of eligible
compensation to be used toward
the purchase of Salesforce shares.
Eligible employees will be able to
enrol in the ESPP during ‘enrolment
periods’, which occur every six
months, and stock will be purchased
twice a year. Once a participant
enrols, the elected ESPP contribution
amount will be deducted from future
pay checks on an after-tax basis.

Make your money go further
when paying for the care of your
children. This benefit allows you
to select the amount of credit
you would like to pay towards
kindergartens and day care for
children up to three years old.
You can select from €1 to 30%
of your gross base salary to be
deducted from your monthly
pay, pre-tax, so you’ll lower your
taxable income and save!
Once you select this Benefit
through The Employee Benefits
Site, you will receive an email
with details of how to register
to view your online account.
Your deduction will then be
taken from your pay in the same
month. The provider will pay the
kindergarten or daycare directly.

VOUCHERS
TICKET TRANSPORT
CARDS
Save on the cost of eating out at a
range of restaurants and eateries
around the country.
Get help with your commuting
costs with tax-efficient travel.
Receive credit from Salesforce every day
worked – so you can enjoy meals out.
You will receive credit of €9 per day you work
from Salesforce. You can also choose to add €1
or €2 from your gross salary to make it €10 or
€11 per day to maximize the tax efficiency, or
you can just continue getting the €9 per day from
Salesforce without contributing anything yourself.
The credit from Salesforce is completely tax-free.
The prepaid reloadable cards can be used at
participating restaurants and eateries. You can
also use ApplePay and Android Pay to pay for
your meals, and manage your account online.
You will automatically enroled into this
benefit. But if you want to increase your
additional contribution, you’ll have to do
this through The Employee Benefits Site.
Unfortunately, you can’t receive the credit
from Salesforce as a cash payment.

The Employee Benefits Site.
With the Transport Travel Ticket benefit,
you can purchase tickets for public
transport with your pre-tax salary, meaning
you lower your taxable income and save!
You can select up to €136.60 per month
to be loaded onto your card which can be
used at any public transport vendor that
accepts Mastercard.
You will be sent your card after you select
to participate in this benefit. To participate
in the benefit, just select it through The
Employee Benefits Site. You will also be
able to download a mobile app for iOS and
Android, which allows you to check your
balance and usage, block your card in the
event it is lost or stolen, and contact the
provider’s customer service team.

Salesforce believes in you furthering your
professional development and promoting
continuous learning through the Education
Reimbursement program. This is an employeedriven benefit - while manager approval is
required, education is to be actively selected by
you and must be related to your current role.
Salesforce will reimburse you for the cost of fees,
tuition, and books up to €5,000* per calendar
year for job-related education courses.

Getting quality sleep is essential
for your health and wellbeing.
Salesforce offers you a digital sleep
improvement program, scientifically
proven to help you get the rest
you need to be at your best.
You’ll start by taking a simple online
sleep quiz, which will provide you
with a sleep score. Then, if you want
more help, you’ll learn evidence-based
techniques to improve your sleep using
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
By signing up you’ll also gain access
to a library of articles and guides
which cover common problem
areas, like pregnancy and sleep, shift
work, jet lag and menopause.

FERTILITY AND ADOPTION
REIMBURSEMENT
PROGRAM*
Get reimbursed for fertility
and adoption-related costs.
We appreciate that starting or growing your
family can sometimes be challenging. Our
Adoption and Fertility Benefit covers up to
€10,000 in each 12-month rolling period
for you or your partner to explore alternative
options when starting a family. Reimbursable
costs covered include, but are not limited to,
adoption agency and legal fees, IVF, acupuncture
and complementary medicine for infertility.
All employees (single or in a relationship) and
their partners (married or living together), are
eligible to participate in this program if employed
by Salesforce. To be eligible for this program,
you must have been continuously employed by
Salesforce for at least six months at the time of
the treatment/procedure or adoption process.

MAKING CHANGES
OUTSIDE OF ENROLMENT
Employee Benefits are flexible, and designed with you in mind.
If something in your life has changed, you may
still be able to update some benefits outside
of the two selection windows in June and
December. But what you can change is subject
to guidelines and provider restrictions.
We call these ‘life events’. Some of
the main ones include:
— Adding a partner/spouse
— Welcoming a child into your family
