CELL COMMUNICATION Stop Motion Video Project TASK: To create an interactive model using cutout pieces of construction paper, chalk, pipe cleaners, clay, or other appropriate materials to describe the key features/components in a cell signaling pathway system and explain the three stages of cell signaling: reception, transduction, and cellular response. PRESENTATION: Create a unique stop motion video demonstrating cellular communication/signal transduction One person from your group will need to download the app called “Stop Motion Studio” to their phone, iPad, or iPod. This program will allow you to create a stop motion video and post this to our google classroom. There is no required length for this video as long as it contains every aspect of the rubric below. PROCEDURE 1. Each group should select one of the following cell signaling pathways G- Protein Ligand-Gated Tyrosine Kinase 2. Your video must include: The secretory cell The target cell Ligand/signaling molecule Receptor activated and inactivated Targeted enzyme(s) activated and inactivated ATP and Phosphorylation cascade Cellular response Any necessary commentary, verbal or written, needed to explain the process that is occurring
