Human dignity connotes acknowledgement that every human being holds a special
role, value and entitled of his or her basic rights in a society Every human being owes it
to themselves and to each other to uphold human dignity, regardless of their roots, skin
color, gender, or identity. In a world of equality, we are expected to live; however, this is
merely an ideal image of life, but by promoting human dignity, we can constantly stay
grounded in the fact that each of us is equal and deserves to be respected. Thus, we all
have a responsibility to uphold human dignity within ourselves and within the society so
that we can live in a just and equitable society where respect dominates.
