The Bhagavad Gita is a Hindu Scripture which literally means “The Song of God”. It comprises 700 verses
by Lord Krishna and is the part of Mahabharat.
Bhagavad Gita is the dialogue between the confused Arjuna (Pandav Prince) and his charioteer, Lord
Krishna, during the war of Mahabharat. Lord Krishna stated some rational philosophical concepts that are
relevant even today. Sri Krishna incarnated to free the earth from evils and sufferings. He was an Avatar of
Lord Vishnu and entitled to destroy the negative powers of demons on the face of the earth. It is believed
that he was born on the 8th day of Krishna Paksha in Shravana month according to Hindu calendar.
This epic scripture has the answers to all our problems. It is recommended to read the Bhagavad Gita on a
regular basis for a better understanding of life and the law of Karma.
