In Switzerland, there are three levels of education that
continue on top of each other:
compulsory education
Vocational school and high school
Higher education schools / universities and vocational
colleges
There are public and private elementary schools
Most students are trained for tertiary activities
They do not wear uniforms
They are graded from grades 1-6

Natural sciences are also given a lot of importance where
math, biology, chemistry, physics, and geography are taught
as some of the main subjects. Other subjects like history, civic
education, music, art and design, physical education and
health, home economics, career guidance, and vocational
preparation are also taught.
