THREE REASON WHY PEOPLE IS UNTEACHABLE
1. PRIDE
Proverbs 29:23 - Pride brings a person low, but the lowly in spirit gain honor.
WHY PRIDE BRINGS A PERSON LOW? It was pride that caused Satan to fall... and pride
is the root which yields many unseemly branches and produces an abundance of sinful fruit.
Pride is born out of selfishness, envy and greed, discontent, rebellion, and stubbornness.
- Ayaw natin magpatalo or hindi tayo nagpapatalo.
- Ayaw natin na nakikitang tinuturuan tayo ng ibang tao.
AND PRIDE TURNS INTO INSECURITY… WE INSECURE BECAUSE THAT THERE IS SOMEONE
GREATER THAN US.
2. PAIN
Romans 8:18 - I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory
that will be revealed in us.
A place of sufferings and trials and a time of heartaches and problems, a life of difficulties
and sickness, a season of disappointments and death. Suffering is placed alongside great glory,
sadness is contrasted with lasting joy, despair is put in contradistinction with the glorious hope
that is set before us while death is forever swallowed up in the abundance of everlasting life.
 PAIN IN THE PAST – Ayaw natin magpaturo because of our hurtful past.
 PAIN OF THE PROCESS – Sometimes when we are in process of healing ayaw natin na
may nagtuturo sa atin hindi tayo tumatanggap ng opinions nila. Masydo tayo
nagpapadala sa emosyon natin.
3. PRINCIPLE
- “MAGALING NA AKO”
- “ALAM KO NA YAN”
- Ayaw na magpaturo dahil malaki na ang ulo at akala niya alam na ang lahat.
Proverbs 15:4 – “A gentle tongue is a tree of life, but perverseness in it breaks the spirit.”
EVILNESS/KABASTUSAN
- A gentle tongue will rebuke at times, but always for the good of the hearer.
- An evil tongue can kill a spirit and break a heart.
THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT BEING TEACHABLE

1. A TEACHABLE MINDSET IS A GROWING MINDSET
Attitude or way of thinking
- “MAY PAGLAGO SA PAGPAPATURO”
- YOU ARE IN THE PROCESS OF LEARNING/LEARNING NEW THINGS.
PROVERBS 3:5-6 - Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own
understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
- DON’T LET YOUR PRIDE STOP YOU FROM LEARNING.
- PRIDE will slow down your GROWTH.
2. A TEACHABLE HEART IS A HEALING HEART
- “MAY PAGHILOM SA PAGPAPATURO”
- It is the most important attributes for success in life is to have a HEART
TEACHABLE.
- Sometimes ito ang mali sa atin, we disconnect to people who rebuke at correct us
from our sins.
Colosssians 3:13 - Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a
grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
Learn to forgive because we are imperfect people.
- IF THERE IS PAIN IN LEARNING, THERE IS HEALING IN LEARNING.
- EVEN IF YOU ARE IN PAIN, YOU SHOULD STILL OPEN YOUR DOORS.
3. A TEACHABLE LIFESTYLE IS AN UNENDING LIFESTYLE.
- “MAGPATULOY SA PAGPAPATURO”
- Walang age limit ang pagkatuto. Hangga’t may buhay, may pag-asang matuto.
- NEVER STOP LEARNING
- HAVE A HEART NA WILLING MAGPATURO PARA MAKAMIT ANG PAGBABAGO
