Good afternoon sa inyo.
Ito ‘yong first victory group natin for this year. Happy ako na as the year starts, I started my journey
sharing the gospel with you.
Na i-share Kung ano ang natutunan ko last year na madadala ko this year.
Question to ask:
Kumusta ang bungad ng bagong taon?
Ano ang faith goals niyo for this year? Ni-lo-look forward na mangyari at ma-achieve?
Thank you for sharing.
Magandang marinig na sa bagong taon, we are full of hope, positivity, anticipation, and excitement of
what will going to happen next.
Kasi new year is parang new journey sa atin, new chapter, new experiences, new me but still you-chos
HAHA. But still into Jesus.
Still into Him in believing of what He can do and plans for us.
Still into Him in remembering His promises as we start our new beginnings in this year.
And most importantly, still with Him in abiding and keeping His presence and words in our lives.
Ang daming grateful things ang nangyari last year kahit na we’ve gone through a lot. Ang daming
pinagdaan. Different battles we fought, different pain we felt, different disappointments, problems, and
hardships ‘yong nangyari sa atin last year pero thank God nalagpasan natin lahat.
We’ve overcome all of it kasi God is with us. We came to see the grateful things and encouragements
despite sa mga nangyari. It taught us lots of things.
That’s why sa bagong taon na ‘to, it must be new us with a better version na minold ni God from the last
year of 2021.
To face life better, full of
faith, submission, and obedience sa mga will, breakthrough, and plans ni God na mangyayari this year sa
‘tin.
And ‘yong highlight ko for the last year of 2021 na I learned
na dapat dala-dala ko ngayon as I start this year is true surrender.
Topic: “ True Surrender”
What does it really meant to truly surrender everything to God?
I’ll share my 1st point.
1.) True surrender is when you let go
Sa Exodus 12:31 (NIV)
“During the night Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and said, “Up! Leave my people, you and the
Israelites! Go, Worship the LORD as you have requested. Take your flocks and herds, as you have said,
and go. And also bless me.”
Morever,
‘di ‘yon ‘yong promise ni God for them. God did not promise them to be slave but to the land of milk
and honey kaya God made a way para magkaroon sila ng freedom.
Ayaw niya i-let go o
Same rin sa atin parang similar kay Paraoh kailangan pa may mangyaring pain or forced in order para ilet go natin ‘yong pinapa-let go ni God.
This proved na mahirap talaga mag-let go.
and mahirap talaga i-let go ‘yong isang bagay specially if gusto talaga natin, naka depend na tayo ro’n
tapos pinapasurrender sa atin ni God.
Kaya God is making a way sa life natin na mawala ‘yong kapit natin sa mga ‘yon kasi God wants us to
grow and God wants to break that patterns sa buhay natin.
for us, God sees na ‘di ‘yon nakakabuti sa atin, and there must be growth. Kasi in order to have that
change and growth we must let go and isurrender lahat ng pinapasurrender niya.
Because the process of growing in God is the process of releasing something-that is letting go and let
God, in order to receive something.
God is
asking for that little teddy bear na ibigay sa kanya pero sabi ng little girl, “But I love it.” Pero sagot ni
Jesus, “Just trust me.”
Jesus said to that little girl just trust Him kasi mas great pa ‘yong ibibigay niya. May mas malaking teddy
bear na hawak si Jesus sa likod niya for that little girl.
Always remember sa Jeremiah 29:11 “'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to
prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. '”
Kung may pinapa-let go si God, Let go of it kasi He also just wants us to appreciate something, He wants
to reset everything, to make a change in you may it be to be a better person and the woman that God
wants you to be, and lastly, let God be God. Let God be your LORD.
2.) True surrender is when you abide in the word.
In James 1:25 It says,
“But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.”
Nandito ‘yong when God speak to us, do we really obey?
Do we really listen?
Do we really do what He asked us to do?
When God said let go and surrender do you really surrender?
When God said you must only believe and trust do you really do? With all your heart?
When God said no? Do you follow Him?
Most of the time we hear the word, got convicted- na nag strike talaga sa atin pero nakakalimutan
natin.
As well, may times talaga na we don’t do what God says we should do and we don’t have that
Therefore, ito ‘yong puro tuto
lang at nahihirapan tayo na i-apply.
It is very common and all of us are guilty of it. Kaya need na there is full submission, complete
surrender.
Kasi pinapakita rin no’n ‘yong faith and trust na mero’n tayo towards Him. Allowing those words of God
to fill our hearts.
when we abide in the word.
His word filling our hearts and minds.
Those commandments, promises, wisdom, understanding, learnings, revelation, at will ni God na nag
speak sa atin, when we listen to it and do what He wants us to do and act we submit to Him and we let
God form us, grow us, mold us, and mature us.
Words of God gave us strength, recognize God’s voice in our lives, secure us, gives us peace, it leads,
guides us, and most importantly it empowers us to fight any temptations and discipline ourselves.
Always remember sa James 1:25 “Do not deceive ourselves by not applying what God wants us to do
and obey.”
Do what it tells and God will bless us.
Let us keep on abiding in the word and to pray to bless us with the Holy Spirit of obedience.
Lastly, 3.) True surrender is to seek God first.
According to Matthew 6: 36 “Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness all these things shall
be added unto you.”
Kagaya ng sabi ni Pastora Jamey ‘di sinabing seek your girlfriend first, ‘di seek your boyfriend first, ‘di rin
seek your dreams first, seek your emotions first, your feelings first but seek God first and all these shall
be added unto you.
We must put God at the first place. Kasi God wants to be the first in our life. If we remember what
Jesus said about the greatest commandment na nakasulat sa Mark 12:30 (NIV)
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all
your strength.' “
It says there na,”Love God with all your heart.” That is the greatest command of all. Loving Him with all
our heart and putting Him in the first place. Kasi kung ano ‘yong pinaka pinaprioritize natin sa buhay it
shows ‘yon ang pinaka-importante sa atin.
He must be our first priority. God must be in the first place. Bakit? Kasi without Jesus in the first place
what comes next will never work.
Kasi lahat ng bagay may order. Hindi naman puwedeng mauna na isipilyo mo bibig mo and then
pagkatapos tsaka mo pa lalag’yan ng toothpaste.
The same in our lives, in every aspect. We must seek God first. We must seek His advice, His guidance,
His will, His word in everything we do and have in life.
Kapag may problema, seek God first.
Kapag na t-troubled seek God first.
When you want peace of mind seek God first.
When you need the strength seek God first.
When we want to be successful seek God first.
When we want high grades seek God first.
When we do this, we surrender everything to Him.
Everything will just follow, will work, will be blessed, will be prospered, and
will lasts for a life time.
God wants to feel our lives with all the happiness but it will just come if we only seek Him first. Always.
In Jeremiah 29:12-13 (NIV) God said,“ Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will
listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you will seek me with all your heart, I will be found by
you”
To face life better, full of
faith, submission, and obedience sa mga will, breakthrough, and plans ni God na mangyayari this year sa
‘tin.
