Table 5 discloses the School Choice of the parents in selecting the school for
their children. All the criteria garnered a very high overall mean of 4.64, which is
verbally interpreted as Very Important.
The parents based the school choice for their children as to quality of
education and the school safety. Both criteria got the highest mean of 4.88 or Very
Important.
On the other hand, the cheaper school fees received the lowest mean of 4.22,
or Very Important. It indicates that the parents considered least whether the school
collects cheaper fees or not. Also, it implies that as long as the school gives quality
of education and their children will be safe in the school, it will be acceptable to
pay fees.
