San Jose State Majors that require a Minor to graduate
There are seven majors at San Jose State that require minors to graduate. San Jose State
doesn't require any of the coursework for these minors to be completed prior to transfer,
however, it is very useful to know -- because some of our students may want to take some of
the coursework at Cabrillo prior to transfer.
1. The biological sciences require a minor in chemistry
2. International business requires a minor in the area of study (i.e. if
you plan international business in Spain or Mexico, you need to take
courses in the language and geography of those countries).
3. All language majors require a minor in another language
4. Psychology majors required a minor, and there are a number of choices
(see catalog)
