Two Places I Have Visited
There are so many nice places on earth. Maybe there are only a few
people like visiting places but for me, visiting certain places is fascinating and
fun.
Throughout my existence in life, I have visited many places in the
Philippines but there are two certain places that I like visiting the most. These
two places always make me compare each other. It is the province of
Pangasinan and the province of Batangas. These provinces are different from
each other.
Pangasinan is known for ​its delicious mangoes and ceramic oven-baked
Calasiao puto ("native rice cake") while Batangas is known for its bagoong
(fish paste). In terms of preserving colonial architectures, people in Batangas
are better. But in terms of creativity and innovation, I can say that
Pangasinan is better. In Terms of religious festivals, Pangasinan is known as
Galicayo Festival wherein they celebrate the honor of Our Lady Manaoag by
doing religious street dancing while Batangas is known for there Tapusan
Festival they do parades that includes floats garlanded with flowers including
the image of virgin mary to honor the holy cross.
A lot of comparison I can tell for Pangasinan and Batangas but for me
the important thing is how can we or they live in a certain place. What type
of place we can share to others. Maybe the place of Batangas are good in
preserving colonial architecture but Iloilo can deal with us through their
innovation and creativity. Having a human being living in one place is a
struggle in life. ​This is how you can consider things that surround you. ​This is
how you can consider things that surround you. Living and working is one
thing that you should be proud of.
