Environmental Science This course is designed to increase the students’ awareness of their surroundings. Emphasis will be placed on the important interrelationships among living things and the physical environment. Course topics will include: ecological principles and ecosystems; populations of living things; water, air and land; energy relationships; and conservation. Anatomy and Physiology This course will enable to students to develop an understanding of the relationships between the structures and functions of the human body. Topics covered will include anatomical terminology, basic biochemistry, cells and tissues, and the structure and function of the various systems of the body. Laboratory experiments including dissections will supplement the areas of study.
