RESPONSIBILITIES
 To ensure that the cleaning standard of the Rooms and the Public areas is
adhered to.
 To plan for the department in terms of staffing and Training i.e. plan today
for tomorrow.
 To train housekeeping staff on room cleaning and public area cleaning.
 To make sure all maintenance faults are reported and worked on by the
maintenance department follow up are made.
 To handle guest complaints in a courteous and professional manner
 To make sure that guest requests are attended to promptly
 To do stock count and ensure that they are followed as per set standard by
the Hotel
 To ensure that all staff are wearing correct uniform all the time.
 To ensure that correct time keeping is followed.
 To liaise with Front office on the Room Discrepancies and Out Of Order
Rooms.
 To make sure Rooms are updated on time.
 To make sure that amenities are correctly put in the rooms according to the
set standard.
