What is the Engineering Development Program?
The Engineering Development Program (EDP) positions you
to be an integral part of the Siemens engineering team.
Participants will have the opportunity to bring about change,
growth, and success for many of Siemens electrification
products and solutions. Participants will receive mentoring
from Siemens’ team of innovators and learn what it is like to
be part of a company that is solving global challenges.
Who Should Apply?
You will use your creativity and engineering education to
take on a role in product design, feasibility analysis,
manufacturing, project management, quality assurance,
service solutions, applications engineering, research, testing,
or supply chain management.
To apply for the Engineering Development Program, candidates
must meet the following requirements:
The goal of the program is for participants to fine-tune their
skills, apply their knowledge of engineering, and further
develop:
Technically competence in Siemens’ electrification
portfolio
Change management skills and innovation
A global orientation
Communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
EDP program participants are full-time employees with full
benefits. This program is designed to help you create an
accelerated career path with Siemens electrification aligned
divisions.
Program start dates are in January and June.

Preferred Majors (BS or MS): Mechanical Engineering,
Aerospace Engineering and Electrical Engineering; other
energy-aligned engineering degrees will be considered
Graduation Date: Candidates must graduate by the program
start date, but no more than one year prior
Minimum GPA: 3.25
Relocation and Travel: Candidates must be willing to
relocate and travel as required by the program
Work Authorization: Permanent work authorization in the
U.S. is required
