WBT-0702.11 Signature Pole Terminal

The elegantly designed Signature model is the ultimate in pole terminals for demanding applications. Robust design with two separate pressure nuts for connection of 4-mm bananas, spades and crimped cable ends up to

16 mm 2 (5 AWG). The Signature version is crowned by a highly compressed surface in a luxuriously shiny gold finish.

Same characteristics as WBT-0702.11 but with a polished platinum finish.

Both models are suitable for 400 A continuous current and offer a pat. collet chucking device for banana plugs.

Extra tight fastening of spades thanks to the milled groove of the terminal platform and the big pressure nut. With a Torx T.6 screw for internal connection.


WBT-0702.01 Topline Terminal

Same characteristics as WBT-0702 Signature series except the surface treatment. WBT-

0702 Topline shows a multi-layer hard gold plating like its predecessor WBT-0701. All three WBT-0702 models offer an excellent grip due to the nut design and a torsion-proof installation thanks to the puzzle plate system

(see page 7).

WBT-0780 Economy Pole Terminal

Made of one solid piece of brass, this terminal accepts 4-mm banana plugs, spades of 6 and

8 mm fork size and crimped cable ends up to

6 mm 2 (9 AWG). The clamping nut is built of one piece and offers an excellent grip. The nut’s fine thread insures an extra tight fit for spade and cable. Delivered with build-in insulation consisting of a coloured double step washer, the puzzle plate (see page 7) and a counternut for the torsion-proof mounting.

WBT-0785 Economy Single Terminal

CE and IEC conformable terminal, fully insulated. Same design as WBT-0780. Insertion option for crimped cable ends and spades of

6 and 8 mm fork size (1/4 and 5/16 inch) through front round hole with transverse slot.

Antifatigue bolt

Whatever your internal connection situation is both Economy Terminals are designed to offer a perfect solution for your needs.

Soldering:

Just take the terminal.

Crimping:

Purchase one of the WBT Torx T.6 screws

(see page 7) and a cable end sleeve.

Screw-on pcb:

Purchase a WBT-9102 antifatigue bolt which you screw axially in your terminal.

Ring lug connection:

Same as above, ring lugs are perfectly connected with antifatique bolt WBT-9102.


Internal connection: soldering, crimping*, screw-on pcb or cross-over, ring lug connection

All WBT pole terminals are equipped as a standard with a counter nut, built-in insulation and a puzzle plate (see page 7). WBT-0730, -0735, WBT-

0763, -0765 and WBT-0780, -0785 can be used as double pole terminals by taking the 19 mm bracket WBT-9404 in addition. When purchased packed in jewel cases, the spacer will be included.

* If crimping connection is applied, an additional Torx screw is required.

Speaker Terminal Accessories

WBT-0715 Extension bolt

A simple way of mounting any of the WBT binding posts into a wooden speaker cabinet of more than 9 mm thickness. No extra boring required. Good for cabinets with a thickness of max. 50 mm. Comes with a fixing nut as well as a fan shape washer.

WBT-0716 Mounting kit

The gold plated brass plate and its round counterplate are designed for all direct installation of WBT terminals into wooden speaker chassis. Both plates keep the terminals at a

30 mm distance and prevent them effectively from rotation. Delivered with fan shape washer

WBT-9150.

WBT-9404 Spacer bracket

All WBT pole terminals are available as single terminals. However, it is possible to mount the terminals as double terminals with 19 mm distance by using the spacer WBT-9404 (This applies to all WBT pole terminals except for the series WBT-0702, WBT-0705 and WBT-0710).

With snap slots for a perfect fixing of each single terminal in four positions.


WBT-0719 Mounting kit

Same like WBT-0716 but the outer plate showing up a mat velours-chromium finish.

Matches perfectly with WBT-0780/-0785 as well as WBT-0710 Cu mC. (without picture)

60 mm

WBT-0725 Cu/Ag Power Bridges

Perfectly designed bridges for bi-wiring terminals. Available as a pure copper version (Cu), gold plated, as well as a fine silver version (Ag), platinum plated, both insuring highest conductivity.

An elastomer in the back damps vibration. The Makrolon insulation insures CE and IEC conformability.

Applicable to all WBT terminals except WBT-0702 and WBT-0705 models.

WBT-0726 Cu Power Bridge Economy

WBT-0726 is a more simple version of WBT-0725. It represents a pure copper core with the mat velours-chromium finish which characterizes the WBT Economy terminals. Especially nice in combination with WBT-0780/-0785 as well as WBT-0710 Cu mC.

WBT-0725 and WBT-0726 work under the condition that the defined distance of 60 mm between each terminal set is strictly respected. The minimum distance required between (+) and

(-) is 30 mm.

Build-in Instructions

The new Puzzle Plate System: To take best advantage at least two plates should be clipped together to achieve whether a 19 or 30 mm distance. This way your terminals cannot rotate at all. To achieve an ultratight fit the use of the WBT-9150 fan shape washer is recommended (ideal torque to be applied : 8.5 Nm).

WBT-0541.05 bi-wiring kit (with nextgen

WBT mounting plates are available in 3 sizes and can be equipped with every WBT pole terminal of your choice!

Robust design made from 3 mm aluminium anodized either in aluminium silver or black. Edges with 10 mm radius. Standard delivery contains 4 (or 6) cylinder head screws and a cellular rubber sealing. The mounting plates feature boreholes with slots for a torsion-protected mounting of the terminals as well as 4 (or 6) countersunk boreholes to receive cylinder head screws. These screws are available with a cutting thread or a metric screw-thread. If the latter is chosen ask for the corresponding brass straddling dowel

(see picture above). Plates can be installed on the panel front or countersunk. Their stability is good enough to accept the crossover to be mounted directly on them.

WBT-0490 Dynakey Set

Includes the torque controlled Dynakey

WBT-0481 and the bit assortment WBT-0484 with 18 top-grade 4-mm bits (see complete bits list at here above). The bits can easily be changed and ensure long service. Torque of the dynakey is factory pre-set to 0.5 Nm and always permits a precise operation. Comes in a convenient plastic case.

WBT-0198 nextgen Tool

With this nextgen spanner one can easily take the Central Contact Unit out of the nextgen plug WBT-0110. Good for repair and external soldering of the plug. For consumer use special advice is unalterable to insure proper use and put back of the Central Contact Unit.

The use on WBT-0102 and WBT-0152 is not recommended!
