FACULTY INSTRUCTIONS
1.
Schedule an orientation for your students. You can do it at your school facility, or on our campus. If you plan on orienting
students on our campus and have a large group, please notify Nursing Professional Development so we can coordinate
with our transportation department. If you intend to have your staff tour the unit(s) at that time, as a courtesy please
inform the unit Educator and Charge Nurse of the time you’ll be on the unit. Please Note: Students must have their ID
badges before coming on campus for any reason.
2. Orientation includes a combination of on line training (WBT & Internet), PowerPoint presentations, policies & procedure
reading, etc., and on-site tour, all prior to their first day on campus. Please make sure each student reviewed the Student
System Access and Required Training Information (Student Onboarding) to ensure they have access to all systems.
