Schedule an orientation for your students. You can do it at your school facility, or on our campus. If you plan on orienting students on our campus and have a large group, please notify Nursing Professional Development so we can coordinate with our transportation department. If you intend to have your staff tour the unit(s) at that time, as a courtesy please inform the unit CNS and Charge Nurse of the time you’ll be on the unit. Please Note: Students must have their ID badges before coming on campus for any reason. 2. Orientation includes a combination of web based training (WBT), Powerpoint educational presentations, on-site tour, and policies & procedures students are required to read; all prior to their first day on campus. Please make sure each student reviewed the Student System Access and Required WBTs section to ensure they have access to all systems.
