Lightning and Surge Protection IsoPro Kompact BC TT (3+1) IPK BC TT 275 (/FM) Combined four-pole lightning current and surge arrester meeting the requirements of SPD type 1+2 (BC); IEC: SPD class I+II, acc. to IEC 62305 part 1 To be used as equipotential bonding lightning conductor in TT-Power Net Systems • • • • • • • • Leakage current free lightning current and surge protective device (SPD) Based on hermetically sealed gas filled spark-gaps No blow-out vents, no safety distances necessary for installation Protection level ≤ 2,5 kV Lightning impulse current 25kA per Phase to N, resp. 100 kA for N-PE High insulation resistance Risol > 10G Ω Function control with potential-free remote signal contact (optional) Visual monitoring by LED indicator Product Description IPK BC TT 275 (/FM) is a four-pole lightning current and surge arrester in the so called 3+1 protection circuit for the protection of TT-Power Net Systems. These devices with a two stage protection of class I and class II contains in the class I stage a hermetical sealed heavy-duty isolating spark-gap, filled with inert gas. The class II stage contains a MOV + GDT in serial connection (protection valve). This makes dangerous blow-out vents unnecessary. This also saves you from keeping the safety distance to adjoining electrical components usually necessary to avoid unwanted electric arcs. There is no risk of leakage current ! The protective circuit is installed in an easy-to-handle compact housing of only 88mm (5 DIN modules, each 17,5mm) with fixable snap-on clips for mounting on 35 mm form C DIN rail. Large size screw terminals for wire connections up to 50mm² for optimal ground connection. There is an built in a potential-free thermal sensor with remote NC signal contact (/FM) optional available. Application: The IPK devices for TT net are usually installed in main-distribution panels, at the boundary 0B-1 or higher, according to the lightning zones concept of IEC EN 62305:2006-10 part 1-4 (DIN EN 62305:10.2006,Teil 1-4; VDE 0185-305:2006-10, Teil 1-4) Protects People and Valuables Technical Data: Application for three phase TT nets s and neutral (L1, L2, L3 –N / PE – N) with LED monitoring and optional with potentialfree thermal sensor with NC remote signal contact Type Article and order no.
