Arclite Washlite 30/5 is a 5” aperture lensed wallwasher designed for use with 20-, 39- or 70-watt PAR-30 long neck flood metal halide lamps and equipped with an electronic ballast. The fixture provides uniform illumination on vertical surfaces up to the ceiling line.
The optical assembly consists of an internal reflector and a 40° x 70° glass spread lens. This assembly rotates 358° in conjunction with the lamp and is easily removed as a unit for relamping. Precise reflector design minimizes aperture brightness.
PAR-30 metal halide lamps have a color rendering index (CRI) of 80, a color temperature of 3000°K, and a life as long as 9,000 hours.
Arclite Washlite 30/5 is part of a family of metal halide downlights, wallwashers and accent lights available in four aperture sizes, each scaled for a different ceiling height. The 5” aperture matches that of our 5”compact fluorescent, low voltage, A and PAR lamped downlights, wallwashers and accent lights.
Reflectors are available in clear, natural aluminum in two finishes:
EvenTone , our standard clear finish, partially diffuse, anti-iridescent and gently luminous in appearance; and EasyTone , diffuse and luminous. Additionally, reflectors are available in champagne gold, wheat, pewter, bronze and black.
Arclite Washlite 30/5 includes a pair of mounting bars (¾” x 27” C channel).
Specialty bars for wood joist and T-bar installations are also available.
Fixture is recommended for wallwashing in stores, malls, banks, hotels, auditoriums, airports and sports facilities – especially in lobbies, atria and other public areas.
Fixture is listed for Damp Location and suitable for use in a fire rated ceiling. Fixture is prewired with electronic ballast and thermal protector, and is approved for eight #12 wire
90°C branch circuit pullthrough wiring. Removal of the housing from below allows access to the ballast and junction box.
