Features
Presto Arclite 30/6 is an efficient 6” aperture downlight remodeler
designed for use with 20-, 39- or 70-watt PAR-30 long neck metal halide
lamps and equipped with an electronic ballast. Precise reflector design
minimizes aperture brightness, with a
shielding angle of 40°.
PAR-30 metal halide lamps are available in a number of beam spreads
from narrow spot to very wide flood.
These lamps have a color rendering index (CRI) of 80, a color
temperature of 3000°K,
and a life as long as
9,000 hours.
Presto Arclite 30/6 may
be relamped from below
without removing its reflector.
Requires ceiling opening of 7 1/8” (181mm)
Reflectors are available in clear, natural aluminum
in two finishes: EvenTone, our standard clear finish,
partially diffuse, anti-iridescent and gently luminous in appearance; and
EasyTone, diffuse and luminous. Additionally, reflectors are available in
champagne gold, wheat, pewter, bronze and black.

Fixture is recommended for downlighting in stores, malls, banks, hotels,
schools, auditoriums, airports and sports facilities where fixtures are to be
installed from below into existing ceilings.
Installation locations should offer the following conditions:
• ceiling material 2” or less thick capable of supporting 20 pounds
• recess depth of at least 11 3/8”
• plenum free of joists or obstructions for at least 14” from center of hole along
one side (to accommodate junction box).

with electronic ballast and thermal
protector. Removal of the housing
from below allows access to the
ballast and junction box.

Emergency DC bayonet base socket for 120- volt
incandescent lamp (100-watt max). Requires plenum
free of joists or obstructions for at least 6 ½” from
center of hole at point opposite the junction box.
Increases required ceiling weight capacity to 22 lbs.
