A3800 – POWER SUPPLY UNIT

This power supply A3800 is designed to
supply all A.C. and D.C. voltages required
to perform the tests proposed in the
manuals of Motor and Transformer
Constructions kits.
They are designed for 2 groups of students
(2 to 4 students each side).

A3870 – STATOR AND ROTOR TESTER
(factory code A3470)
A Test and Calibration tool is for a rapid
verification of the operation of the tester and
for calibration is also supplied.
A trimmer is accessible through a hole in the
handle of the tester and may be used to
adjust the red/green switchover point.
General:
The A3870 is a reliable and handy test
instrument for quality assurance and fault
location in electric motors. Both short-circuits
and interruptions of coil windings can be
rapidly detected.
The A3870 tester appears as a hand-held
cylinder
that
contains
the
testing
arrangement.
The unit is power-supplied by a separate
power pack, operated at 220V, 50Hz (other
values on request).

The tester consists of two coils, an electronic
AC signal generator and a detector/driver
for Led indicators. The electronics are
contained in the handle of the instrument,
while the coils are mounted at the sensing
end of the unit.

A3873 – INSULATION TESTER
(factory code ST-1504)
It is a light and portable combination
instrument for testing insulation (MΩ),
continuity (Ω) and AC voltage.
Instant operation is possible with a
pushbutton; in addition, for continuous
measurement of MΩ or Ω, a convenient
timer is provided with automatic power-off
after 3 to 5 minutes to save the battery
power.
Insulation Resistance Ranges:
