The Dyn-Loc V is the next generation
successor to our popular Dyn-Loc IV closedloop eddy-current dynamometer controller.
It maintains all of the best Dyn-Loc IV
features including accurate speed and
torque control, simple operation, and dual
lever-wheel setpoint entry. It also provides
many modern features such as a full VGA
active matrix color LCD display, touch screen
user input, and software upgradability. NI
LabVIEW™ and several other programming
interfaces are supported.
The eddy-current dynamometer field
coil power amplifier unit (PAU) exists in
a separate chassis mount enclosure or
wall-mountable panel. It is sized for each
dynamometer and is typically located near
the dynamometer to simplify installation
as well as to isolate electrical interference.
Field coil currents up to 200A are
supported.
