The switchboard production department develops and manufactures mainly electrical switchboards for the maritime newbuilding sector. The department has wide - ranging expertise related to the development, design and construction of switchboards. The users reliability to the systems is our first priority.
Norwegian shipyards build mainly specialized ships with a high degree of advanced technology. Hareid Elektriske Teknikk AS has remained at the forefront of these developments, and the switchboard production department supplies switchboards with high level of reliability together with safely and easily operation.
Main specifications:
• Low voltage switchboard, up to 690 V.
• Rated insulation (voltage): 1000 V AC
• Max nominal short circuit current: 75 kA.
• Max peak short circuit current: 165 kA.
• Degree of protection: IP 23 (optional higher)
The enclosure is self-supporting, drip-proof, marine cubicle type. Steel protection walls are fitted between each section according to class requirement. The switchboard are of the freestanding dead front type. Hinged access doors in front and rear of the switchboard have approx. 90° opening. Doors are fitted with handrails and stays for locking in open position according to class requirements. The bus bar systems are of hard drawn high conductivity copper with supports mounted to the interior framework. Earth bars are located in sections for outgoing circuits and at the bottom of the switchboard. Main switchboard bus bar provided with facility for connection of cables during load test. All outgoing circuits to consumers are controlled by triple pole moulded case circuit breakers. All breakers are of adequate rating for the required duty and fault level. The switchboard is designed for self-ventilated air cooling with ventilation openings in top. All panels are provided with suitable engraved labels included section number. All components and cables will be clearly marked in accordance with class requirements and in correspondence to the drawings. All instruments marked with red mark at maximum working values.
